god, i love mark when he goes name dropping... i hope the kids out there are listening and will try some of those bands.
can... actually, i'd say "tago mago" is a better place to start if you want to get into can... what a record! "soundtrack" is very cool, but some of the songs, well, i think you better appreciate them once you know what the band is about and all that. "mother sky" though... talkin bout perfection!!

Nice new interview with the band is in new eidtion of Everett Trues Plan B magazine. Just coming out in UK now. Has David Berman of Silver Jews on the cover. Dbl page spread with band photo taken around the back of Shepherds Bush venue in London in the lovely market area..... Cool wee interview! Dude talks to Steve and Mark about ATP, tours etc. Also seems that Everett True has 2 x new books on the horizon - one about Sonic Youth and one about Nirvana.... guess there will be some mention of Mudhoney in both of these books. I wonder if anyone will ever write a Mudhoney biography..? www.planbmag.com/ |
