This is all so cool. These photo's from Euro the gigs are amazing! I'm sure someone will be collecting them - links anyway - on their website soon Seems to me that this European tour has been a success? Great to see new people joining up on this site and feedback from so many shows. As has been discussed the UK leg seemed to have gone really well. ATP was brilliant (there's a wee review in the NME this week - a page on the first weekend - the reviewer Pat Long hails the Mudhoney show) and Shep Bush too. Nice Half Page review of Shep Bush with great photo in this weeks Kerrang too. 5ks!!Yes I will scan asap Wonder if any of the filmed footage will make the DVD? I really hope that happens this year. Anyway- everyone have a nice day! ;D

So, I guess the tour was a big success. I saw them at Groningen and it was my first Mudhoney Gig since 14 years and I was a little bit nervous before. Will they still rock or are they just old men who try to rock. But I have to say, it was one of the best concerts I've seen in the last ten years. All the young bands I've seen the last years should go to a Mudhoney show to learn, how to blow the audience away. There are so many bands that start their gigs with a furios song but couldn't hold the level. Not so Mudhhoney. They hold the level the whole time. It was really, really amazing. Also it was nice that there wasn't only thirty-somethings like me but also a lot of younger people. But the funny thing was, that mostly the older ones totally freaked out and the younger ones just stood there with open mouths. May be the couldn't believe what they've seen. Either these old men on the stage, who show them, what rock'n'roll really means, eihter the old men in front of the stage, banging their heads and screaming like they are 18 again, including me of course. After the gig my friend and me looked at each other and then raised our arms in the air, like Germany has won the worldchampionships and I really felt like that and I still feel like that today. Everytime I think about that evening, I can't believe, that I really was a part of it. So, call me crazy, It's ok.

To HCSOP - you're not crazy - you're spot on The Mudhoney live shows now are better than 10+ years ago. I can remember just losing it the first time I saw them in 1989. It was just too much. Still some of the best shows I've ever seen. Lets hope they continue for a few more tours yet!
