Ive seen Dino Jr and the Melvins twice now.

but hey nice to see some things havent changed!!!

Gather round:

I saw Krist outside the concert venue, as they wouldnt let me in (yes i did look bad!!!!!!!!) coz i didnt have id!! I then got chatting to him, wanted to ask him a million questions, but didnt (I think i restrained myself nicely!!) and he got me a VIP pass into the gig, and I was then escorted through the back stage into the gig in style!! Of course I was lovin every minute of it!! The gig was amazing considering it was the second time Ive seen them, they have two drummers and thier new bass player is the shit!!! I got twisted and watch one of the best gigs Ive ever seen!!!

I saw the Melvins 3x in 4 days and the show I saw in London was the best show I've ever seen. Buzz, Coady and Dale joining Flipper for Sacrifice was unbelievable.

I've also seen dino twice and had a brief meeting with J Mascis at ATP this year,As for the melvins i was due to see them twice in a weekend,but was to ill,fucked up and all from ATP the days before so had to just grit my teeth and no go.

My Krist experience at ATP was realising that I was stood watching Iggy & The Stooges a few feet from him on the Friday night. This is after he played with Flipper (who lets face it were kinda crappy - sorry but they were :-[

I could a) go over and drunkenly talk bollocks to him - not that I have anything to say to the dude that he hasn't heard before and could possibly interest him or b) carry on enjoying Iggy and The Stooges.
I chose b) as I was enjoying Iggy too much and it looked like he was too
