I know everybody on this forum is thinking "how the fuck I'm gonna get there" but I hope everybody will be there. Now what will be the line-up ? I think at least 25 bands old and new will gonna be there. So apart from Green River and Mudhoney who is gonna perform? ?

Theres been A LOT of bands on Sub Pop over the past 20 days.....some very good - some quite bad...hmmm - personally aside from Mudhoney and Green River I'd like to see the following:
Comets On Fire (one more time pls!) Codeine (never saw 'em - loved those LPS at the time - still do) Tad (goes without saying!) I don't really count Screaming Trees as a 'Sub Pop' band but I'd like to see Mark Lanegan play - those solo LPS all mean a lot to me. Wooden Shjips and Pissed Jeans from the new breed would be cool.
If say L7 or the Fluid (Soundgarden?) played I'd be pleased:)
Does anyone want to see Jale, Looper or Pond play again? Or the Hardship Post? Though not...
I'm not banking of (m)any of the above - reckon we'll get a lot of stuff like The Thermans, Postal Service, Jennifer Gentle etc etc - which is fair enough I guess.

Yeah well - thats the thing with Sub Pop innit.. so many bands.. If I go to this event in whatever shape or form it takes it's mainly to see Mudhoney - Green River being a bot of a groovy bonus. If Big Black can reform for T&Gs 25th do - then hey Tad 'could' get back together for this! The other band who I saw play the Lamefest at the Astoria in London, 1989...well I think its doubtful they'll be playing... Maybe they should though.... that would be so preverse. Do it karaoke style like when the Stooges re-formed with Mascis and Watt and got guest singers in. Ha ha - sorry..... The thing with Sub Pop is a lot of the bands who have recorded for them over the years (thinking for example Sebadoh, JAMC, Go! Team, Red House Painters, Low and Billy Childish) have also recorded for a host of other labels - often before they pitch up on Sub Pop. Does it really matter though! F**** it - I've always wanted to go to Seattle/PNW and this is an excuse to hopefully combine it with some cool shows!

Hazel too.
Soundgarden would be great, but only if they played stuff from the time Hiro was in the band (Sup pop through SST years + first album for A&M). After he left, they really lost their "Heavyness." By the end, I really felt they sucked.
