meh, nobody should do a top ten list on a topic that has so many different bands included. Wheter it be top 10 guitar solos to top 10 best drummers. They shouldn't exist. If it was top ten nirvana songs or top ten guitar solos by zepelin then thats ok cos its just one band, one topic and nothing else. you got a point there. I believe it possible to vote for this list, but I am not sure. If you make a list like this on sell details, Nirvana we definately not be the number 1 at all. It just a list that maybe says nothing, but I just like it because Nirvana is on #1.

but having a week deadicated to them every year i mean surely this does not mean anything, again its down to you'r own opinions, dont get me wrong i love nirvana, and if it wasnt for them i doubt i would be listening to the music i am today, but for me there are MANy more important bands than nirvana and many who dont get enough respect. But come on thorn man mtv,mtv2,vh1 ect...just silly music channels man most of the music that means ALOT to me i will never see on any of these channels mabye they are to kool to play the music i like or something, but i guess if you dig mainstream music and all they are ok to like and watch,Like chuck D from public enemy said one day ''ELVIS WAS A HERO TO MOST,BUT HE NEVER MEANT SHIT TO ME,MOST OF MY HEROS AIN'T APPEARED ON NO STAMP'' that kinda sum's it up for me...i dont like and listen to these channels so it dont matter to me what they say like,i will always love nirvana despite what anyone say's but there is always many more important bands before nirvana for me.

i love em because they played music that was a collection of all the bands that inspired them from the 60s to the 90s, and so far theyre the only band i know that have done this.
