Episode I and Episode II sucks, (rest are great stuff) but i hate those I & II that much that i do not even want to watch Episode III, they made me to hate the whole fucking series and all around SW... don't try to turn my head back, everything's gone, everything's lost, now i'll lock myself to bathroom and slit my wrist.... awh wait there's hope: "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"... no they are gonna fucked up that too. check up the link anyway : hitchhikers.movies.go.com/index.htmlRest In Peace - Douglas Adams I REALLY HOPE THAT MOVIE WORKS.... beanuts and towels for everyone Yes I agree I and II sucked big balls and as like you I was sceptica, but seriously III is really, really good. Ok ok, I've avoided this thread as I've ben stupidly busy the past few weeks and not been to the cinema - but I've just been to see Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith or whatever it's called and it fucking rocked my world!! Being the wrong side of 30, I saw Star Wars (a New Hope) at the cinema in 1977 (oh god that makes me feel really old!!) and it is still one of those pivotal life changing moments, (alongside hearing Mudhoney for the 1st time) you cannot believe how much that film was like the MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE WORLD in the late 70s. Alongside Liverpool Football Club and the band Abba I think:) Come on!! When you're 5 years old - Abab rule!!!
But fuck, this film just about - only just mind - makes up for the absolute shower of shit that is both the Phantom Menace and EP II - go they ARE awful!! I truly believe that George Lucas is a FOOL and that somebody else MUST have been in charge of this film (i.e. directing it!) to make it so good! But whatever it's great (despite somje cringingly bad acting and huge plot holes!!).
But whatever!
I love Ewoks too.
I love the Imperial Fleet. Bobba Fett. Captain Antiles. Mos Eisley. Landspeeders. R2 D2. Jawas. Sand People. Lught Sabres. the Death Star. Admiral Moff Tarkin. The Moon Forest of Endor. The Ice Planet Hoth. Chewie, Han and Leia. Lukes severed arm. 'I am your Father', 'These aren't the droids you're looking for', Obi Wan etc etc etc etc etc;)
