A friend of mine visited this weekend & brought me a promo copy of KINSKI's new album "ALPINE STATIC" on Sub Pop. If you haven't seen a few of my other posts, I'm completely obsessed with this album at the moment. If you haven't heard it you need to. Absolutely amazing. Black Sabbath meets Sonic Youth. Fucking incredible. www.kinski.net/

Thanks for the tip, they're playing in Paradiso, Amsterdam next Monday (the 31st). If I'm digging it, I might go.

Be sure to let me know how Kinski is live if you guys go! I imagine it's quite an experience. I can't wait for them to return to the states.

I bought Brian Walby's Manchild, Damaged by Black Flag and Instrument, the Fughwaizi (sic) dvd. Go check out Brian's work, it was also featured in the Melvins' coffee table book: www.volumeone.com/manchild/.
