No offense to you Lynch fans but god does he suck. He does weird movies just for the sake of being weird. Mulholland Drive was so stupid I couldn't believe it. Especially as I had all my friends it was the most amazing film ever. Lynch is one helluva pretentious twat. Sorry

When I had seen Mulholland Drive for the first time, a new world went open for me. I think Lynch is a master at creating great atmospheres - the red curtains are a good example of that. What I like about Lynch is that his movies are mysterious but he doesn't really emphasize it. For example, watching Donnie Darko pushes the viewer to create solutions to make the movie clear. But while watching Lynch movies, I don't really care about the explantions, I just enjoy the atmospheres.
I can see why people don't get movies like Mullholland Drive though, too bad.

Well I went to see War of the worlds last night. Like most Spielberg it had a great begining and middle but a too stupid of a happy ending.
Anyone else seen it?

I dunno I dug the born identity cause it was a cool adaption of a good book. But the sequel stunk imo when they got a different director who loved his Jerky-Direction-Camera crap and who couldn't tell who was hitting who in the fight scenes... Speaking of fight scenes... it has to be said Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon is where its at!!! ps. eraser head bored the toss out of me but i enjoyed the film Buffalo 69 which lent from it. Anyone seen it? later!

yeah i couldnt remember what year it was meant to be so "66" is probably correct. So is there anyone else on here who likes Bruce Lee. I no kung fu exponent or such but i think he was a pretty inspirational person.
