So what's your favorite t.v programs ever? I' guessing theirs gonna be allot of Simpson's votes with thorn refusing to accept anyone else's views. I don't usually watch TV anymore. channel 4 repeat the same the 10 episode s of Simpson's so I've gotten bored of it  . Although, six feet under is an amazing drama series. Its the only programs that's actually made me cry oh, except all those 'celebrity' shows 'cos they're so bad that is. Horizon is a cool programs as well (nerrrrrrrrrrrrdddddd). |

Comedies:
- Curb Your Enthusiasm
- Seinfeld (my absolute favorite)
- Simpsons
- The League of Gentlemen
- The Wonder Years (Winnie is HOT!!!)
- The Young Ones
I've also seen Band of Brothers, most Oz episodes and the first 3 series of the Sopranos, still waiting for the rest.
That's about it I guess.

Simpsons
South park (though i dont have it on my 10 channel TV my freind has all the DVDs)
Whose line is it anyway?(why dont they show that anymore)
Lost(pathetic i know but now ive gotten into it and stupid cliffhangers i hate them)
not much else, maybe Family Guy(ripoff of Simpsons) and American Dad(ripoff of Family Guy)

As I get older I'm finding it harder and harder to raise much enthusiasm for TV. I don't have cable (or digital or whatever you call it!) or SKY TV or even a damn digibox free doo dah - so that means I have 5 channels to choose from....What a ludditte!!!
Hey I'm from the UK and can remember a time before Channel 4 (and Channel 5!) when there were 3 x TV stations and NO TV during the day aside from lunchtime. Seems crazy now... I watch all this stuff on DVD.... Here goes:
Newish Stuff 1st:
The Wire - HBO US Cop series based in Baltimore - best COP series EVER!? Best drama ever..?
Deadwood - blew my mind, Ian McShane is GOD!!
Curb Your Ethusiasm - has there ever been a better conedy series? Sorry Norecess, and I know this may seem like hersey but I don't even like Seinfeld!!
Band Of Brothers - HBO rule really don't they...
I'm only on like ep. 5 of Lost - but it's entertaining!
Scrubs - hey it's light and fluffy but so what!
Classic stuff:
Twin Peaks
Hill Street Blues
MASH
Homicide: Life On The Streets
Comedy wise: Young Ones, Day Today, JAM, Brass Eye, Monty Python, early Frasier, League Of Gentlemen, The Comic Trips Presents (everyone should buy the box set now!)
Music stuff: Snub TV, Whistle Test, The Tube

Simpsons, Seinfield, Wonder Years, and I still like my favorite cartoons( Spider-Man, X-Men)...also were are all the X-Files nerds at? am I the only one??

I used to watch x files all the time when it was on terrestrial TV until BBC started fucking about with scheduling of it meaning I lost track of what happened. Now I've forgotten most of the episodes. My favorite was the flame guy, it was pretty early on.
Wouldn't mind starting to getting the DVDs of it but having to pay for 12 series or so of it seems a little daunting.

Early seasons were much better, no question. When Mulder left, it got bad. When Skully left too, it got really bad. I think my favorite season would be three, it had ''Humbug''( the circus one with the little fuji-mermaid monster) ''Host''(the giant man-worm) and the one were Mulder is on the train with the alien-human hybrid...

This is weird since Larry was one of the main writers of Seinfeld. It's also pretty much the same kind of humor. Ah well, opinions vary. I have to buy the DVD box. Lynch is a genious. |
