Hmm - Buffalo Tom.... They played the Scala a couple of months ago in London. Saw 'em. It was dull. They played the hit(s). Their new record is pretty boring to be sure. Show was passable - bloody annoying woman behind me screeching for Mineral at the top of her voice (like they weren't going to play it.....). They're just so workman like live it's embarassing. Repeatedly 'thanking' the crowd for coming out on a 'school night' and remarking on how much they appreciated us for being there cos they know how difficult it is to get babysitters etc. Jesus christ...I think they were serious (sincere?) too. It was a joyless experience. I first saw Buffalo Tom play live in 1990 on the Birdbrain tour (they play nothing live off of the 1st two records). 17 years on they're no better now than they were then, i.e. always a bit tiresome. The painful thing is I really like some of their albums (though the last good one was Big Red Letter Day - 14 years ago!!). Should anyone really care if they are still going?

LAST GIG: I went to see Chris Cornell, I know that many of you think that is some kind of motherfucker but he is doing what he likes, perform live his big hits there was a moment when he said: "The bands I was in, Didn't wanna travel didn't wanna tour, thanks for waiting Buenos Aires!" he played " Hinger Strike" and "Slaves & Bulldozers", too. Awesome. I still support him
