Thurston, I believe Khanate and Acid King are coming to Cardiff soon. I bet you already know Acid King and if not, you could just go and they will become one of your favorite bands afterwards, easily. Unfortunately they cancelled one of their Dutch gigs which was the one I was planning to go to.

Khanate is a different story. Not sure if you will dig this extreme approach to doom but it will be really fucking impressive, I'll tell you that. I have a great live DVD by these guys - also including Mr. Steve O'Mally from Sunn 0))). Check 'em out somewhere on the internet.

Also, I read Khanate, Pelican and Red Sparowes might tour Europe in 2006. Hopefully those three bands and Sunn 0))) and EARTH will play at the Roadburn festival in Holland in March or so. If that happens, I better start saving right now 'cause I don't think a few grams of weed will be enough for that night.

Wicked man!!!! i aint heard about this actually so yes i'll go search about it on the net now and see whereabouts they are playing and when.I'm off to see The Fall again next thursday and then i got Shooting At Unarmed Men on the friday and my girlfriend is also comming down so a busy weekend for me.
