are you sure its his fav guitar, they seem to be fotgraphed with fenders mostly. i read it from some interview (that it is his fav gtr) well Hagstrom III that Mark use for open A slide tuning, and he use a Telecaster for open G slide tuning, and he use the Gretsch for standard. And, Steve uses Mustangs mostly. He also bought a cheap Silvertone reissue. yeah yaeh blaa blaa blaa everyone knows it.... |

looks a bit like a gibson,but yeah they play hagstroms alot and many fenders to,and many rare geetars

yeah i read that to, that the gretsch was his fav guitar and if i'm not mistaking he said something like it used to belong to chris (soundgarden) and he didn't like it and brought it back to the store and mark bought it or something.

yeah i read that to, that the gretsch was his fav guitar and if i'm not mistaking he said something like it used to belong to chris (soundgarden) and he didn't like it and brought it back to the store and mark bought it or something. I know I started this but... I saw Soundgarden's "Pretty Noose" video today and Chris Cornell was using a Gretsch silver guitar. Hmmmm.... On a side note I love Pretty Noose especially that lead guitar riff. |

the model of the guitar is the gretsch 1069, or the 6910. i know the model is a name with four numbers in it. the 6910? yeh, im pretty sure its called the 6910.
its a nice lookin guitar, but it feels really bulky to play at first. but you kinda adapt to the body of it soon after. especially if your a gibson player. the bridge is a very similar height to the les paul, and the neck is slightly thicker, makin it harder to grasp at a low strap, as a lot more preassure is needed to actually hold the guitar. but as i said, soon after playin the model you would easily adapt to its shape. it is a really good guitar actually. im not to sure what the pick ups are tho. im pretty sure that the model i played is similar to the one marks been usin lately.same tremolo system aswell. very nice ;D
