as if it needs to be said, the new melvins album is awesome. i saw them last nite in indianapolis &, like always, it was simply amazing. heavy, loud, intense, etc... before the show i got to talk to buzz. cool guy, told me where some cool record stores were. kevin rutmanis was dressed as a priest walking up & down the sidewalk with a mounted dear head yelling about jagermiester & all sorts of weird nuts. pretty funny. dale was inside setting up his drums & doing mic checks. then i ended up hanging out with jello biafra in one of the record stores for an hour & a half. he's a cool guy too. he's very knowledgable about music, that's for sure. anyway, jello & the melvins performed 3 of the new songs off their upcoming joint album & then they played an old dead kennedys song together at the end of the show. the crowd went absolutely insane. simply amazing. heavy....

WOW lamestain man!!! i envy you likr  sounds like you have a F***ing great time man,hanging out with the melvins and jello and seeing them both live. i've still yet to get the new melvins album but shall grab it very soon along with sonic nurse that i aint got round to buying yet either,i hope melvins and sonic do some sort of uk tour thing to so i can finally go see them both. |
