umm I quote from Dave Grohl's biography. Butch Vig - 'Kurt called me up and said "I have the best drummer in the world now. He hits harder than anybody" and I said "Yeah, right". But it was true! The amps were super-loud and the guitars were super-loud but there no mics on the drums and they were as loud!" Does anybody have Dave's biography is a good book. Only covers up to One by One though..

he is a very good drummer. But if you went up to Dave and said "you're the best drummer ever" he'd probably not be too happy....

yeah Dave hates getting ask who's the best drummer because he gets it so often, but Taylor must be a pretty damn good drummer to have stayed in the Foos this long. They got rid of William "too grunge" Goldsmith after 2 years.....
