not at all, it's just that lots of those bands songs run together to me, i mean, if you've heard one fu manchu album you've heard them all... and i actually just ordered winnebago deal's full length off their site now that they have it set up for US customers as well

so you finally came to your senses music isnt ALL about melody, thats what chart pop is about, its about how it all works together!!

i didn't say it was all about melody, there are great bands that just scream all the time, it's just about making those songs memorable, and tons of those bands, if you've heard one song you've heard them all. so if a band screams all the time, they gotta have something special about them for me to latch on.

intense music is the best music, and melodic intense music is the ultimate art form, you can still be melodic while screaming, husker du, nirvana, and the list is endless, nebula, kyuss, and winnebago deal dont scream in every song, and all of thier songs defintalely dont sound the same!!! ps they all have something special for me, and i guess you dont like them, so theres no point in arguing!

you just don't get it, think of a band you like, but don't love, don't have the desire to own all of their cds, one is enough etc.. that's how i feel about kyuss and nebula. but i'm told that the kyuss cd i have isn't their best so i MAY give them another shot.

you see im not like that if i like a band i have to have all of thier cds to experince every single thing. because when i like band i know theyre great even if nobody else agrees. im just a different person to you i guess, and you are entitled to listen to whoever you want im just explaining my point of view.
ps if you do decide to give kyuss another go "blues for the red sun" is amazing (in my humble opinon)

i didn't say there weren't a solid or kickass band, i just said, from what i had heard (the ep with man hunt, whiskey business etc) they seemed to lack too much melody. i didn't say i didn't like it though, i love their agressive style.
