i absolutely love earth. one of my favorite bands. great sludgy slow heavy doom metal. i'm glad to see there are other earth fans out there, we're a rare breed indeed TW!

hehe yeah man like Old Skool Dinosaurs and i know there aint many of them left either.But yeah im a huge Earth fan to mate i love everything they did,i could of had the chance to see them back last year at All Tomorrows Parties,but i had problems with my girlfriend back then and didnt end up going i feel so bad that i didnt see them

Hey lamestain you should check out a band called Sunn O))) if you aint heard of them pretty kool stuff man,and kinda similar to the earth sound.

Ok Ok, heads up as here comes a shameless plug for my band:)

Oh it was on HORRIBLE heavy brown vinyl too:)

kooool stuff man!! hehe come and play wales sometime i would sure come along with my friends and watch you guys!! back to the topic again,i aint seen earth either,but Sunn O))) = FUCKING INSANE LIVE!! i seen them at all tomorrows parties back a few weeks ago and they were great,they had like a 1hour set and played like 1 song was great though,almost as good as lightning bolt were.

hey smallstone, no problem with self promotions as far as bands are good, and yours look like it is!
the johnson family records website is very cool too, too bad i've alread spent all my christmas money (but i reall wanted those gun club reissues).
speaking of which, you don't have any extra copy of your album do you? i'd love to buy that (and the split, too). is it out on vinyl only? anyway, PM.

back on topic, another great and underrated band is sleep. their "dopesmoker" album / 60mins+ song (also known as "jerusalem"), well, you just gotta listen to that thing... here, take a minute and read the mind blowing lyrics:

Oops I kinda forgot to mention Sleep there!! Naturally Sleep RULE!! I love them so much!! Yup Jerusalem/DopeSmoker is a LEGENDARY album!! Where would we be without it!

To Thurston_Whore, we plan to play Wales VERY soon. Do you know the band Taint? We're by all accounts going to play with them soon (Welsh band). I'm a doofuss, I just don't know exactly where in Wales they are based. Yo Raunchands, RESPECT for writing out those lyrics!! I can remember the 1st time I heard that record! Blew my mind!! WOW!!
On a TOTALLY different musical trip - anyone here dig Tom Rush? My wife got me a double Tom Ruch re-issue album on CD for Xmas, and it is really very very good. Kinda JJ Cale meets Neil Young-ish/Fred Neil vibe.
