I've just booked 2 x tickets for this show....... So folks time to get those credit cards out!! Mudhoney - Perform their classic "Superfuzz Bigmuff" album and early singles at London's Koko. On sale now. www.seetickets.com/?a=mudhoneyCan I suggest places to eat beforehand? There is a rather fantastic Tapas bar/restaurant called El Parador just over the road from the venue. Nearest tube is Mornington Cresent on the Northern Line. Or you go to Camden Town (also on the Northern Line). The venue Koko is the old Camden Palace that has been revamped. Blimey I haven't been there since going clubbing in 1993 after a Sebadoh show!! Excited:) WOW !!! lucky you have fun pal !!! and tell us all about that day later !!!

Just a simple question this, but are they going to have to relearn the majority of songs?. Cos when was the last time they played the likes of 'Burn it clean', 'Halloween' or 'Need'.

Folks Bit more info about this series of gigs from nme.com www.nme.com/news/112306.htmStooges playing Funhouse sounds interesting. No sign of Sonic Youth doing Daydream Nation though. Not sure I'm that bothered about t'other bands! Still this is looking interesting. If Uncut get behind it I;m sure there will be 'press' etc cheers

And one more question. Are they playing anything else after Superfuzz? 'Cos it sounds like it's gonna be a pretty short show. How longs the album 50-60mins roughly?
p.s The Stooges should do Self-titled or Raw Power rather than Funhouse.

why? funhouse is by far their best album and arguably one of the best five rock records ever released. not that the other two are bad, mind you, they're both fantastic, but funhouse, you just can't beat that.
besides, you should know that ron asheton refuses to play any material off raw power.
as for mudhoney, it has been posted on many sites (including the ones you can buy tickets from) that they'll play the SFBM plus early singles record. or they can jam for 20 minutes on in'n'out of grace... that'd be fine with me!

I'm Agreed with raunchhands bout the stooges we cant forget how fucking wonderful funhouse is,and yeah man 20 minutes on in n' out of grace would be kool,i'd rather 20 minutes of beneath the valley of the underdog or 10 minuets each of Thousand Forms Of Mind & Mudride but its mudhoney it will be fucking great just as that. ;D

Wouldn't it be cooler to have a 10 min drum solo in In N Out Of Grace? ;D

...the official line is that they have to play the original ep in order, but don't have to stick to the order of 'early singles' as they are on the re-issue. with all of the showss the bands are allowed to do an encore with whatever songs they want in it. .... Yeah the sonic youth thing looks to have fallen through, they just didn't want/ couldn't be bothered to to re-learn the songs. i haven't heard any more about dinosaur jr though.
