Ha ha! I had such a thing for Kim Deal when I was 18......she was a GODDESS!! It's a long story my 'relationship' with Kim Deal....  ha ha ha. We have many mutual aquaintances. She is also mad as a lorry. Hell of a right hook though! Yeah I had a huge crush too...... *sigh* |

She's great though!!!!
When I met Kim the conversation went something like this:
My mate introduces me:
'Hey Kim, this is X, he knows Y.'
Kim:
'Hey X, (she punches me in the chest) you know Y!!!!'
Me, in pain, going eeuuuurghh........shit!
'Hey Kim, yup I know Y, he's doing ok, eurrrghhhh...... that kinda hurt, ha ha ha! How you doing?
Kim
'I'm doing ok. So how is Y, you seen him lately. He's living in the US blah blah blah'
Rivetting stuff huh!!!!
Kim & Kelly had just had BIG ROW with the security at the venue we were in (the Breeders were about to play a show).
I was wearing an Electro Harmonix black t shirt which I remember she thought was cool:)
Not that great a story really.... but hey you don't get to meet Kim Deal everyday!!!
The Breeders show was cool too!! This was last album period Breeders not Last Splash or Pod.

Lucky you are though man seeing all those damn kool bands and getting to meet kim i seriously do envy you man.Only person music-wise i met was Kat Bjelland from babes in toyland that was a fucking night to remeber though,she is so down to earth and kind hearted i adore that woman!!!!!

I've met some of the Mudhoney dudes and they're great blokes!!
I'm sure Kat is a lovely lady.
I can remember being a 15/16 year old meeting some (at that time) musical 'heros' and they were assholes!!! Probably 'cos I was a fawning 15/16 year old but you know what I mean!!!
When I was 15/16 I was into some stuff I cannot bring myself to listen to now...... The Wonderstuff!!! The Mission!!!

Hell yeah hey man like 7 years ago i was the bigest michael jackson fan from the uk im pretty sure,not to mention all the other shit i used to listen to so i think we've all had our fair share of crap its just weather you grow out of it or stay there listening and looks like we grew out of it. ;D
