Nick Cave 'Helpless' (Neil Young/CSNY cover from my favourite covers album 'The Bridge' - instrumental in getting me into Neil Young! - great Pixies, Sonic Youth, Flaming Lips, Loop covers of Neil tunes)
Loop 'Mother Sky' (Can - Loop can do no wrong in my book!!)
Mudhoney 'Urban Guerilla' (Hawkwind - so FUCKING punk. From the Mojo Punk Rock covermount comp. from a few years ago. My current favourite Mudhoney cover though 'We Had Love' their Scientists cover is running a close second at the moment....)
Sonic Youth 'Hot Wire My Heart' (Crime like DUH!! why has it taken me over 15 years to go back and check out Crime!!)
Iron & Wine 'Peng' (Stereolab cover! Nice - only found on Rough Trade Shops 2003 album)
J Masics and the Fog 'Everything Flows' (by Teenage Fanclub which segues into 'Range Life' by Pavememt and ends up ripping through 'In A Rut' by the Ruts!! WOW! - on the BBC Radio 1 Fog sessions CD)
Johnny Cash 'Hurt' (I hate 9 Inch Nails. So much. But I love Johnny Cash. This could be the best cover ever......and best video, from one of my favourite albums....

Red House Painters 'I Am A Rock' (Simon & Garfunkels 'classic' with the tune taken out!!)
