Aren't they that Australian band who opened for the Melvins a few times and also set up that gig of the Melvins in Australia that was being released on cd?

i absolutely LOVE the cosmic psychos. i've got all their records and i love them all, yup, i even kinda like what a lovely pie. their 2xCD retrospective, "fifteen years, a million beers", is a must have. but all of their early albums are solid and well worth your money.
most sub pop bands owe a lot to the australian music scene.. radio birdman, the scientists, x, the birthday party, there were just so many great bands from down under!!

The Cosmic Psychos recently played over here in the Netherlands and they did all the old stuff. Bad news is that Bill Walsh left the band. I think the band doen't make any money as the way they did in the eighties or nineties so he left after a row with Ross. Ross told him WHAT ABOUT THE BAND  . He replied FUCK THE BAND. They did find a replacement and told me they were working on a new album. I hope it's gonna be a new Self Tottaled. |
