So lets start a thread about this little beauty - Mudhoney and Green River so it's ok to post it in here yeah? I ordered my tickets last night at 8pm (midday Pacific North Western time). $65.70 (thats about £33...) 2 day ticket 12th and 13th July. www.subpop.com/channel/newsSo who's going to make the trek to Seattle then? Comets On Fire are playing and some others... I'm excited.

Excellent - I'll see you there Got to pick up the tickets on the day at the fedstival site... god I hope they're organised. I once went to T in The Park festival in Scotland. 'Organised' by the NME. My boss couldn't go - so I went as a 'guest' of the NME. They forget to book my flight, hotel and guest pass to the festival. Had to blag my way in..... Feargal Sharkey ex-singer of the Undertones helped me get in. Nice man. Anyways ... anyone booking flights? I'm thinkign of flying BA direct from Heathrow. Probably going out on Thursday the 10th July.... returning on Tues the 15th.

I've never had problems with tickets like that, but I understand that you're a wee bit worried after that T 'n the park fiasco. Print out a copy of the Ticketmaster email and you'll be fina mate!
I'm treking up from Mexico City on the same date as you, then back to Mexico on the 15th. Let me know what hotel you'll be staying in. Maybe we could head out for a few pints at some point. Maybe you'd be interested in seeing the city with me and my missus?? We want to go see Kurts house and that shit when we're up there... See the Sub Pop building, the needle and what ever is worth seeing in Seattle.

Mexico to Seattle. Mmm thats tasty! Aye - we'll hook up Sir I'm not too bothered about seeing old Kurts place though - heh heh. Want to get down to Ballard and maybe out on a boat trip. Not gonna have too much time if I do it in 5 days. Thinking of staying with this hotel chain: www.theacehotel.com/seattle/may extend my trip and take a train down to Portand for a day or two. My wife still may come with me too..

Hotels? For those that are going - have you had any luck with finding a decent not run down but affordable hotel? Tripadvisor is helpful. But.... anyone? Hotels? July? Seattle? Sub Pop 20? Anyone? Just for convenience I'm looking at Downtown (close to Showbox). Lets talk
