From one of the Gregory Nolan pics taken at Koko Mark has got 3 x pedals on the go. Left to right it's some weird Boss looking thing - maybe it's something housed in a Boss box. A yellowbox that looks a bit like what Steve is using. Then what actually does look like one of those big old green Russian built Big Muffs. I have one at home... Not sure it is one though. Maybe a custom built fuzz box? Damn I really want to know now!! I have read in the past he uses a octave pedal for kinda keyboardy sounds. He obviously uses some kinda distortion/fuzz box. He doesn't use Wah though. Does anybody here recognise these know/what they are? They're all using some fine guitars though. Marks still rocking that beautiful silver sparkle early 90s Gretsch re-issue, his Hagstrom III with what looks like a Gretsch pickup at the neck (sure he only uses the neck pick up on his Hagstrom). He also is still rocking that lovely 70s (I think) blonde Telecaster with a Bigsby trem. Steve has that great Guild (a Starfire I think) and that odd Gibson. He doesn't seem to use his Mustangs live anymore. We should start a new Mudhoney Gear Thread!!!

This site is really cool: guitargeek.com/It's a database of tons of guitarists' rig setups with diagrams & other information. Mark's '99 setup: Link to Mark's rig info page: guitargeek.com/rigview/270/(You can see the equipment labels much better at the site than the image I posted above)

Nice one Lamestain. That site is amazing (though doesn't seem to have been updated much recently and is a bit 'nu-metal-centric') - check out J Mascis' rig. The most insane rig!! I think Marks changed his set up a bit over the last few years. I'd look to get a look at Mudhoneys reharsal space - I'm a bit of a sad gear head....
