Yeah, or something like that. Today I finally got my package of cd's from Aquarius Records. And now that I got your attention, they are a great record store and have the best catalgue there is. Go support them! Also, my buddy Jason who works there knows I'm a Mudhoney fan and as always he adds some extra's to my package. It already contained two albums by the great, awesome and heavy Harvey Milk, two albums by Mark Lanegan, two by Boris, Lightning Bolt, Kinski, Sleep and Melvins, but he also added an amazing record by Squirrel Bait (fans of Husker Du and the Replacements and proto-grunge in general - I know there are several out here - should check them out, a few of them would later form a band called Slint), a Nebula video (Carpe Diem, never heard of it), his current personal favorite Lurker of Chalice, Pale Horse (never heard of them), more cd's, and some kind of press kit from Sub Pop that was sent to Aquarius. Oh thats really nice!! Sort of thing I REALLY want for my Mudhoney collection - stick it next to my tour laminate from Piece Of Cake and my My Brother The Cow promotional MOO shaker. Serisously it's beautiful!!
I must take a photo and put it up on this board.
Could we start an area for scans of their singles?
Or press cuttings?
I've got 17 years worth of UK/US and Euro press cuttings at home. Really interesting stuff.
Like to start an area showing all the different vinyl releases from official stuff to promos and bootlegs etc.
I have mountains of stuff at home... CD promos as well.
Be nice to share!

Ok - well I have about 6/7 volumes of press cuttings. We're talking back to 1988. Everything from Maximum Rock and Roll to Rolling Stone. All the Melody Maker, Sounds & NME live, news, reviews and features. Stuff from Uncut, Mojo, Q, Select, Kerrang. Fanzine stuff etc etc. Loads of internet stuff. A few t shirts, about 2 or 3 really nice original gig posters. Stuff like laminates, trading cards, promo items like that moo shaker. Old flyers, gig tickets etc Pretty much every 7", 10", 12", LP, CD, CD promo, CD single they've done. Some Cassettes too  Split singles & bootlegs. Bunch of videos. The K7 ones basically. I've got a pair of Mudhoney promotional boxer shorts!! I'd like to catalogue this stuff. Should be somewhere on this site where folks can document it. It be like an archive! A museum to Mudhoney! I might start a website. Not to tread on anyones toes - cos the websites that are out there are AMAZING!!! - maybe we could add stuff to the ones that are there. already... I dunno. Anyways!! Just a thought  |

Smallstone..i really like you'r idea to mate,feel free to archive you'r mudhoney pickings here and start a new thread/topic abut it,Or imi sure mika would like you'r idea and if he had space would put all you'r stuff up on his site if you asked him,But by all means you'r more than welcome to start a topic or thread here for it man i would love to see what you have to especially those boxer shorts lol.  |

Well, I paid for everything except for Palehorse (best new band I've heard in time, just found out they split up) from the UK, Squirrel bait (Thurston, you will LOVE this EP, check out the link) and Lurker of Chalice. And that promo thing of course. Remember, Sub Pop just sends this to a lot of cool stores, mail orders and distributors I guess, so actually it's nothing exceptional. Still, it's great to have. But yeah, I'm lucky. And only because of my marvellous taste in music |
