i have slowly developed into a pretty hardcore mudhoney fan in the last 6 months and was wondering why some of the following songs dont get played live (anymore) or rarely get played (if there is a significant reason):
into your shtik execution style today is a good day judgement... good enough overblown
again, i am a relatively new fan.

Considering how they now have a pretty big backlog of songs at there want I think they choose the songs that they personally think are good to play live and/or can be pulled off by them.
Oh by the way Bonjour

I can recall a more recent interview with Mark were he said they play songs that people ''actually want to hear''...so that might be the reason...but i have never heard Pokin' Around live, and if anyone has it i would appreciate it!

They go back to the start Sweet Young Thing Hate The Police etc stuff of SF/MB etc I remember back in the midsts of time this board had a 'fantasy' Mudhoney set list thread going. It's easier to do that than to look into what they don't play. Or just look at recent gig reports (of which there aren't enough on this board!!) Their sets, like most bands, tend to centre on or at least include more tracks off of recent releases (even their KOKO shows in London last year in the encore included tracks from UABS) than 'classics'. They have fecking LOADS of tracks to choose from as we all know. When they played for example Poisoned Water last year at Koko (on the Saturday night) my little head nearly flew off my shoulders!! I wish they'd play a few more tracks off of THT but hey I'm not complaining!
