PLAY Release Date Set: April 17, 2007!
Well, we've been working on this children's compilation record for going on three years and I'm happy to report that it finally has artwork (by the incredibly talented Ian Nagy) and a release date! It is packed with wonderful, upbeat songs that we find as enjoyable as our five-year-old Nick does: you'll laugh, you'll dance, you'll get down on the ground (thanks for the lyric, Mary Timony!). In stores and online here, April 17, 2007!
Bands on PLAY include: Anna Oxygen, Young Fresh Fellows, Mock Orange, Visqueen, Channels w/Damon Locks, Soccer Team (featuring our own mailorder guru Melissa Quinley and Ryan Nelson of Beauty Pill/The Most Secret Method fame), Mirah w/Tara Jane O'Neill, Sgt. Major, Mary Timony, Mudhoney, Supersuckers, Georgie James (John Davis, formerly of Q and Not U, w/Laura Burhenn), The Cassettes, Ben Davis.
