Yeah I realize my threads might annoy you guys.. Some of you might think I'm trying to show off or soemthing... I AM NOT. I am truly just curious about my items and I'm a freaking nerd that's why...
I just got a few additions that I hope you can help me getting info on:
"Burn It Clean" | 12" Black | Glitterhouse Rec. "Let It Slide" | 10" Clear blue | Au-go-go Rec. (aussie ed.) "Let It Slide" | 12" Black | Sub Pop "Five Dollar Bob's Mock Cooter Stew" | 12" Black | Reprise Rec. (us ed.) "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge" | 12" Purple | Sub Pop
What I wanna know is how many copies there is of each one?
I also have some old ones that I'm not sure about:
"You Stupid Asshole" (black, clear saw-shaped smooth-edged, clear saw-shaped sharp-edged)
"This Gift" 12" Black Glitterhouse
"You're Gone" (7" black Sub pop and 12" black Glitterhouse)
Please help out a fellow mudhoney fanatic.. You have no idea how much it means to me!

Not an annoying post at all!! Just one that is VERY hard (impossible?) to answer. Somewhere in my Mudhoney cuttings collection I think I have a really old discography on Sub Pop and or Mudhoney - but I'm not sure that on some of these releases there is firm info. on how many were pressed up on the titles you mention. Esp. a release like You Stupid Asshole. You're after info on print/pressing runs which I really think will be lost in time..... I mean Reprise's pressing of Five Dollar Bob probably ran into the 10s of 1000s! This was a full release on a major label just before vinyl succumbed to CDs in the market. Then they may have re-pressed it. Thats not a 'limited' run. Same goes for Sub Pops black vinyl of Let It Slide. They 'may' have re-pressed. To really answer that question you'd have to go to Sub Pop and look through their production folder from 17 years ago (pre-computers...) if they had one - and/or talk to whoever did production back then. Doubtful you'll get an answer But good luck all the same.

Yeah, I know some of these I mentinoned are not limited.. I just want it confirmed. I do suspect some of them are thugh. Like "You Stupid Asshole".. I know one of the versons are limited to 2000 copies but not which one. Any help is very useful to me

Not on these titles though: "Burn It Clean" | 12" Black | Glitterhouse Rec. "Let It Slide" | 10" Clear blue | Au-go-go Rec. (aussie ed.) "Let It Slide" | 12" Black | Sub Pop "Five Dollar Bob's Mock Cooter Stew" | 12" Black | Reprise Rec. (us ed.) probably... Doubtful there is any info available on the pressing quantities of these - the BIG discography doesn't list them either. I've had a look at my print out (how sad am I!!!!?). Sorry man. Write to Sub Pop and Au Go Go. The Au Go Go releases would have been limited methinks. But Glitterhouse (which is still trading) would have done a few pressings of the Burn It Clean 12". More later.

Man, I'm sure there's info on the quantity. That's where I got the info I already have. 100% sure. Maybe not on ALL of them, but most.

Good to see the BIG discography back but as I thought for the titles you want pressing quantities on there is no info. These titles weren't limited and would I suspect have been pressed up until the demand ran out - that's how the music business works - it's a money machine innit Like I said these days what with fancy online inventories available to record labels you can track how much was pressed on stuff pretty easily - but back in the day (and when I did production for a label) you just kept track of pressings in a production book (or whatever You have to account back for royalty statements how much you manufacture so I bet somewhere deep in a filing cabinet of the accounts department at Reprise's Head Office hidden under a copy of Spin is a ledger with the details of Five Dollar Bobs pressing on it. Likewise at Au Go Go and Sub Pop. If something WAS limited - like a one off pressing it seems to be in the big discography with figures.
