I'm with Thorn. Seattle had, has, and will have some great bands, but anywhere you go that's bound to be true to some extent.

seattle was the defining centre of american rock music in the 90s, but all over america good bands were playing, not just seattle. seattle is great, and so are the other places.

I wish I was from Seattle too. According to a few people it seems that Seattle is not really the alternative, grunge, indie, whatever, town anymore. Only dickhead live there, stupid rednecks. Maybe we just need to keep this fairytale alive.

I live just north of Seattle and it's still a great city. Going to see Mudhoney there next month, 11/6/04. How do you like Seattle now??
