Hey I've only just spotted this! Thanks everyone! So anyway - this is what I got for my birthday - my 35th!  1966 (re-issue) Fender Mustang in Daphne Blue:) Not the copy of SuperFuzz Bigmuff or my not working at the moment Univox Superfuzz!!!  Is this really sad? Buying a guitar 'cos of Steve Turner? ha ha ha. But I needed a new work horse guitar to jam on etc and I've wanted one since I was like...18!! ha ha ha. And yes Mr Wagon my Superfuzz is still broke.... So anyways I got very drunk the night before the big day with my brother (who I haven't seen for 3 years as he lives in Shanghai!). Drinking Guinness with whisky chasers!! Ouch! So hungover on my birthday I could hardly get out of bed. Hangovers really do get worse as you get older.... Managed to stumble into London town - went to both Tates - saw the Hogarth exhibition at the Britain then the enormous and fantastic Gilbert & George retrospective at the Modern. Dinner in the evening. It was a good day! As for Sonic Youth ATP 'Daydream Nation'. I will be there - oh yes!! And Slint too! My brother is going to see them in Shanghai next month.... Anyways - belated thanks to you! |

WOW!  Sweet as man..iw ouldnt mind getting another mustang for my birthday (Mustangs own!) I cant get tickets to the SY gig,May try and grab me some for the slint one if there are still any left? lets hope so. Nice to hear you had a great day to mate. |

i fucking love that superfuzz bigmuff cover its one of the greatest covers ever!!!! is that a japanese mustang they are making them way better than the Americans these days
