john peel was an extremely important & legendary DJ for BBC radio in the UK. he promoted many up & coming underground bands such as mudhoney & nirvana who recorded songs at the BBC studios for his radio show.

"rouche rumble" & "my new house" are also originally by the fall, as well as the kinks cover being inspired by the fall's cover of it. epic soundtracks was present at the session helping guide SY through the songs shouting out verse/chorus changes & actually sang most of "my new house" (his voice is lower in the mix).
& that's cool that yr seeing the fall next month, should be a great show!

yeah man i cant wait,its not at a show but a festival...will be seeing the fall along with some other awesome bands...THE FALL,SHELLAC,AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRAIL OF DEAD,PEACHES,THROBBING GRISTLE,LIARS,VIOLENT FEMMES ect....cant wait
