Well I spent money when I shouldn't of but I don't care cos they'll all rule.
Funkadelic-Maggot Brain. Of which I'm just playing. It rules. DJ Shadow-The Private Press My Bloody Valentine-Isn't Anything Rage Against The Machine-Renegades The Battle Of Los Angeles
When I got these the guy at the counter at Music Zone said "These for you?" "Yeah" "You've got a weird taste" I felt ever so happy when he said that.

Strangley for one who is WRONG probably 99% of the time (Thorn your ignorant comments about Johnny Cash are an ALL TIME LOW!!! you are weirdly correct about the new Stooges album. Despite having some really really bad reviews I really like the new Stooges album. It's Iggy! It's the Stooges (and yes Blue Cheer! Come on!). But The Weirdness. Anyone who has seen Iggy play in the last 20 years or bought ANY of his post-Blah Blah Blah albums will find something they like on The Weirdness. It's better than Skull and Beat 'Em Up!!! Anyways - what am I listening to? LOTS of Pentangle. Their recent box set is increedible. Of course I'm constantly listening to the new Dinosaur Jr album 'cos it's brilliant

^^ Agreed its deffo better than beat em up and skull ring,Im really feeling this new stooges album and the self titled song does wonders for me,Listen to that song with the lights out while a little wasted tis great.
The new dino album is kool to,First impressions were't to great just reminded me of good old mascis and the fog but after a few listens im hearing the 'New' dinosaur if i may so that. I dont think either albums here are likely to change a generation or anytying but both worth buying and tis nice to see both bands still up there and having fun.
;D

Just picked up from the Notting Hill Tape X (upstairs rare vinyl section) a pretty near mint copy (bit of slight wear on the sleeve) of the Sub Pop 100 Various Artists comp. Features amongst others tracks from Steve Albini, Sonic Youth, Scratch Acid, U Men and the Wipers. Been after this for 15 years. Seen it occasionally at Record Fairs and on Ebay (only last week got out bid on it - well I stopped bidding after £25). Got it for £17 in vouchers. Thats a few quid under price - even the dudes in the shop were like 'ya got yourself a bargain there'. Quite happy with that price!

None, I might buy the Witch album, but I saved up money and bought a reverb and a delay pedal
