Well a bit freaked out but I'm fine. As is everyone I know. Thanks for asking. Was on the tube going in the opposite direction away from Liverpool St this morning on the Circle Line around the time of the first bomb. Bit knackered today so for a change I got a bus to work - which is kinda weird. Usually walk. Ho hum. Got to work to get called by a mate who had a heard there was a bomb attack. It's been a bit of a roller coaster day so far. Felt pretty scared earlier, but know just kind of numb. Public transport, well transport in general is screwed. I'm at work on the other side of town to where I live, so I have a long walk or trip home. Not sure if I'll make it into work tomorrow as it's gonna be pretty impossible to get around. My band have a gig booked in London tomorrow night (our 50th show - we're headlining - for what thats worth and we're debating whether or not to cancel..... I hope all the London folks on this board are ok and folks in general really. Love and peace. x

First of all I would like to condoleance all people that have lost famliy or friends from this place. I don't understund why normal and innocent people must be victims of this. They didn't do anything wrong.... I don't understand that people can be hang to extrism of fanatism. Why is this necessarry? WHY? ??

Yes indeed. I'm surprised it's taken so long to tell you the truth for an attack to 'get through'.
I think the real repercussions have yet to be felt. We could be in for a long turbulent summer. I'm old enough to remember the riots in London, Bristol and Liverpool of the early 1980s. I really hope people can be cool. There are a lot of very ignorant people out there who are looking to stir up some kind of 'race' war in the UK. Or just generally use this event for their own nefarious ends. Things sadly could get a lot worse before they get any better.
Blairs legacy as he enters the final stretch of his time in office is forever now going to be tainted with his support for the 'War on Terror' via the Iraq conflict and it's consequences. He knows it too. I think he may quietly go before the end of the year. Then again...
Today - back to work. Slightly different route due to the Circle Line being shut, took about 10 minutes longer to get to my destination. I've had MUCH WORSE journeys. It was a lot quieter than usual though. I missed getting stuck on the Circle Line yesterday for two hours by about 5-10 mins. Which is a huge relief!!

|I just read in the newspaper that ultra right organizations and football hooligans are planning attacks on moslims in the UK. In my eyes your as bad as the terrorists then. The most of the moslims are also against this violence against innocent people.....
