And I sure had. When me and my friend got in, Fish (Marillion) was busy playing in the big hall so we watched him a few songs and then decided to smoke a joint. I don't know about Explosions In The Sky. They are amazing on cd but I was afraid that they would act a little pretentious on stage, which is the main reason why I have been avoiding bands like Mogwai for years. One guitar player annoyed the hell out of me, his emo haircut didn't help either. The sound was quite bad and the Fish fans who came in later didn't help to create a great atmosphere either. Still, the gig was very decent and maybe I'm just to critical and was expecting a lot more. Nevertheless I bought all their cd's afterwards - can someone please cure me? - 'cause they were only E. 10,- a piece.

they are shit shit shit, just because they play some instruments they think theyre great, they cant even keep time, and need 600 members in the band, to make the sound and the singers should be shot they cannot sing, o my god wait till my band hits the shelves!!!

The melt banana gig was also fucking insane,when i got to cardiff me and my 4 friends didnt have tickets and we were first in the queue to find out it was fucking sold out but an hour or so later my one friend bought 6 tickets off someone and we were in there soon as i walked in to the arena i knew it was gonna be mad The Melvins were on the jukebox and i was well up for this.Funnyily enough we missed the first band due to getiing tickets outside Vicelords they were called anyway soon after i forgot about missing that band as The Keep took to the stage a very nice heavy doom/metal/stoner band they did have alot of enery and made me drink my beers like twice as fast as i normally would.The Shooting At Unarmed Men took the stage i was cumming in my pants at this time as i LOVE this band i was talking to them while they were setting their gear and shit up but they were just amazing as they were the last time i saw them oh and jon the singer and ex Mclusky bassist liked my mudhoney shirt
And then.....BOOM BASH CRASH BANG WALLOP MELT BANANA everyone went fucking mad and i mean fucking mad i didnt notice untill banana played that i was in the mosh pit right at the front of the stage yes i have lots of battle scars from being in there that night i also joined the mosh pit for some time just for some fun but they were fucking amazing! At one point they said ''We're gonna play some shot songs now'' and by god they did they played like at least 10 songs in a matter of 10 minutes lol but it was great i didnt know how many people here in wales would dig them and i was pissed off with it being a sellout and me and my friends didnt get tickets to think 200 odd people in there and like 18 odd knew who melt banana were but we go in and had a fucking great night. Norecess dont miss them when they play you'r neck of the woods man or anyone else for that matter.
They play this sunday in london so if anyone could go i would reccomend it!!!!
