the one of my fav line for opening a show:
"We're not Pearl Jam,
NO seriously!

I haven't got any mudhoney bootlegs  But i've read a couple of reviews about mudhoney concerts. My favourite quote was when Matt Lukins bass was messing up. The sound coming on and off. It happened throught he show and matts getting REALLY annoyed by this, Eventually Mark Arm just turns around and says " hey your bass is fine its just your hearing thats going" |

In the live summer 1992 bootleg at the end of No End In Sight/dead love (jam) matt says:
"Wait a minute, i gotta get my pants zipped up!
i gotta zip up my pants!"

"in New York, it's just starting to get cool to spit on the bands. So, Sonic Youth really appreciates getting spit on. It's like, you know...it's not cool in Seattle where we're from, but Sonic Youth, they know you like them if you're spitting on them."

I really have to agree with Mika, that one about not being Pearl Jam is really funny, specially knowing that both bands are great friends
