RHCP are obsessed with California these days. I respect Frusciante and Navarro before him (or after him, which way you look at it) but Kiedis is annoying, and Chad Smith is a wank drummer.

the sad thing about that video is that it could have been so much funnier... in the end they just imitate five or six bands... i'm sure they could have squeezed in a lot more stuff... james brown, devo... oh well. RHCP are quite boring but i respect all of the guys. yes john is fuckin cool. keith is a skater. and flea, come on, he played with fear, he was in LA when the whole punk thing was happening... much respect for that. i think i dislike their dumb fans a lot more than the band itself. but yeah... when i realized they had come up with yet another song with california in the title i just went "oooh nooo...". i'll second that. btw, is anyone else getting shitty with Rob Thomas? That guy is irritating.... |

come on now, give him a break. this is the guy who said he's got voices in his head helping him to compose his solo albums. he's a muso, a talented guitarist, an ex addict, a weirdo, and has a bizarre sense of humor. heaven knows what goes on in his head! but when he bothers, he can come up with some cool music. i'm not saying he's my rock hero, but even when he fails, he's still more interesting and sincere than 98% of the musicians out there.
