okay, i've been searching for a recording of a specific SY concert i attended this past summer: Goose Island Fest on 8/15/03 in Chicago, IL @ Southport Ave. any help would be GREATLY appreciated! any random thoughts about sonic youth are welcome as well  . |

hi there`s one link to awesome Sonic Youth site www.saucerlike.com/it includ. few great SY downloads. theres great forum also, there might be someone who can help you to find out that concert you looking for i started to listening Sonic Youth in the middle of 80`s so it`s definitely the one of my long time favourites. |

my fave sonic youth records are the early ones: confusion is sex, evol, sister, bad moon rising. i know daydream nation is a landmark album, but i never managed to listen to it for too long (it was a long time ago anyway, maybe i should give it another try). the same goes for all the rec's they put out during the "grunge hype" years (goo, dirty, ejstns). from washing machine onwards they kinda got back in style, but that's when i stopped following them.
but i still believe that if more young kids of today listened to evol the world would be a better place.

does anyone know what kind of music the new album will have, you can never tell will the sonic, but all thier albums are pretty good. one of my fav bands, and they inspired the greatest band of all time. no guesses as to who they were.
