I just saw the Catheters the other night. Good show. . . they opened for Federation X (who RULED) and they played mainly new material. I dug on it. . . has anyone else seen them recently to give an opinion on the new material?

man, i saw them four years ago, and they were real good. i mean of course they really worshipped the supersuckers a lot but since when that's a bad thing? and besides, they already had loads of personality. and they were, like, kids back then. so i can just image that they got better and better.
i can't give you any opinion on their material because i don't have any of their records. but if i find something second hand, i'm definitely going to pick it up.

oh and-- i totally agree, federation x is an amazing band. i've never seen them live but i have their first album (american folk horror) and it's fantastic. i really want to hear their second one, i've heard some mixed reviews so i'm quite curious.

I don't have Folk horror, but I really like X Patriot. "Real American Kids, Real American Ids" is an amazing song.
