Tim Kerr told me that
he just got back from Seattle,
Monkeywrench recorded 4 songs
so that maybe they can finish
the new record sometime
sooner than later.

Yeah great news indeed.
it will be an lp but im not sure what will be on it and what might end up on singles. Monkeywrench already had 8 or 9 that were mixed and ready to go even before Mudhoney had started recording their newest record (the one thats come out) .
Mark thought there should be more songs so they recorded these. 2 originals that he is working on words for and 2 covers (Really Red's "Aim Taste Good" and George Jones "He Stopped Loving Her Today"). Tim Kerr is going back to seattle to mix the Earaches in june so maybe then they can mix the rest of Monkeywrench as well.
