Mudhoney, The Shins and Sleater-Kinney all to curate at ATP 2006 All Tomorrow’s Parties May 2006, aka The United States of ATP to be curated by our own Mudhoney, The Shins and Sleater-Kinney! Weekend One takes place May 12th-14th, during which Mudhoney, along with the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs and a still-TBA special guest will perform and curate one day each, programming bands/DJ sets and a television channel. Weekend Two takes place May 19th-21st and that weekend Sleater-Kinney, The Shins and Ween will do the same deal. ATP is a remarkably good time, put together the way that every festival should be (and because of the on-site lodging there’s never that annoying trapped-rat feeling so pervasive at most music festivals) and if you can possibly make it, you really, really should. Tickets can be purchased directly through: www.atpfestival.com I suggest all those living in america should check this out you wont be let down i tell you!!!

That ATP line up is awesome man. Make sure to check out 400 Blows, Diamanda Galas, Acid Mothers Temple and Dalek. I also see Mastodon has confirmed. Make sure to scream for The Bit! All times I've seen 'em, they played The Bit after I shouted it.

Yeah all those bands are playing at the Nightmare Before X-Mas in December i wont be going to that kinda low on cash and the villa's are mostly sold out,But i will be there in march or april next year and if they do the Nightmare again next year i'll be there. Its a pity now looking at the lineup but i got a handful of nice shows to witness before the year is over. ;D

Don't forget Dour, not as big names as ATP, but four days for E. 67,50 and great bands like Isis, Killing Joke and Fantomas. Too bad most of those fuckers over there don't speak English and refuse to speak Dutch.

We've still got the terrifyingly ace looking Nightmare Before Christmas event to come in 2005 - and now we can reveal the peeps who'll be curating next years Spring All Tomorrow's Parties festival. Yup, the weekends of May 12th-14th and May 19th-21st are going to be a bit of an American Invasion that's going under the title of 'The United Sounds of ATP'. But hey, at least May's a bit warmer. The first weekend, which is still to be confirmed, will see Mudhoney, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and A.N. Other picking the acts and artists, while the second has Sleater-Kinney (Woo!), Shins (o) and Ween (_) in charge. No prizes for guessing which weekend'll sell out first. For more details of ATP shindigs, and to see the line up of the Nightmare Before Christmas, go here. Im confused now,im not sure if these guys are curating the usa or uk event? i think its the uk one HOPEFULLY i can see mudhoney again then
