I own it..but i dont own every nirvana/kurt cobain book and i never will i consider myself a nirvana fan as such but yeah i dunno nirvana are no more so i guess it dont matter now or something.

My main argument is that it's a diary for fuck's sake. Those things can be really personal and private and should not be published for financial reasons. I've seen the book a couple of times in stores and have never even take a look at it. It just feels wrong. No offense to the people who do own it, that's up to them. I just can't and will never read a single word from that book.
How do other people think about this issue?

Well mate thats where you ARE wrong mabye you should take a look at it because its NOT and i repeat NOT a diary,its a mere 100 or so pages out of scrap books that kurt kept people keep on mistaking it for a diary but it for sure is not.Its just full of letters kurt wrote to dale crover,mark lanegane and others,cartoon drawings kurt did,designs for nirvana t-shirts,Poems,Cd lists,lyrics and other various stuff.
When i first heard about the JOURNALS i was like Hmmm that sounds dodgy as it could be really personal but it was everything i didnt expect to find in it,i urge you man to check it out for yourself But despite what the media has told everyone its not a fucking diary Its pages out of kurts various scrap books dont you guys keep scrap books full of drawings and old bands names you made during you'r first band? and old lyrics and shit? or mabye im the only one who does that?

Hm this may sound stupid but in that case maybe I will check it out someday. I guess I would have never found out it's not a diary if it wasn't for you, Mike! Haha. Heavier Than Heaven also contains a few letters to Dale, but most of 'em were never sent.
