who the fuck is this man??? ps i dont want any smart answers!! he never got that famous, more of an underground musician. he did have a hit "miss misery" back in 1997 which got him some mainstream praise. that was about it though. back in the grunge days he was in a band called heatmiser. then he went solo. great great great beautiful & depressed music. "folk-punk" is what i've heard it called. mostly acoustic. his later stuff is very well & intrically orchistrated, string arrangements & all that. stabbed himself to death last october. i suggest his albums "figure 8" or "XO," but he never did a bad album, they're all amazing. |

yeah,all great albums indeed and one hell of a songwriter he's gotta be up there with the leonard choen and the best of the songwriters for sure,and such a great guy!!
