a string tribute to sonic youth hmmm and i was thinking sonic youth were insane i wonder how this is gonna turn out like? hmmm i have to get my hands on both cd's.

Just listening to those clips! they are great like,i can imagine coming hope really wasted and putting that cd to unwind on,have to get this and the nirvana one.

enter the "narrow mind" or so you call it. what next if you want the real thing listen to sonic youth, if you want classical music you cant beat beethoven or mozart both musical genuises, but please dont come with this string quartet tribute. if you really wanna listen to string quartets id say give beethovens a chance, then mozart both masters of the genre. but nirvana never composed in the string quartet genre, neither did sonic youth....

Thats ok,and i think sonic youth have done some classical stuff to if im not mistaken,but hey what does that matter man if neither band were classical? blah blah i will check em out anyway.

i didnt actually say that i said niether composed in the classical genre EVER sonic youth have done some jazzy stuff, but nothing classical at all. what these string quartets are doing it taking the music written by other people and using them in the extremely wrong context therefore destroying the emotional and psychological impact the music had before the quartet. if sonic youth wrote string quartets id say excellent lets have a listen, but they didnt, so...
