I don't think it's available in the Netherlands, but you could try to find someone with a CC and get it elsewhere.

Universal 'own' the film and as he says talk to Sonic Youths managment (J Silva) a lot.....
By all accounts the extras and everything - in fact the whole shebang has been put together by Dave Markley but as yer man says the legal situation is a total nightmare.
You've got issues with Ramones (probably) but it's the Nirvana situation that MUST be holding it all up. Courtney and her relationship (or lack of) with DG and KN.
It will happen one day I think..... aren't there some cheeky extras on You Tube?

If you're talking about 1991 The Year blah blah DVD the point is you CAN'T buy it. Its ready to go 'into manufactu're' but like I posted the DVD is held up in massive legal red tape. Markley has prepared a new version or whatever.
You can track down a VHS copy - without all the extras etc - and yes it's well worth it as it's one of the best rock docs ever made.
