I watched the video for No Pussy Blues on Youtube yesterday and was pleasantly suprised. Pretty great song for a band with the budget for a fancy video like that. I wonder where a guy like Nick Cave got his inspiration for the lyrics from.

Oh yeah of course, drugs made him imagine about the possibility of the No Pussy Blues. Well, if I would bump into Nick Cave one day and he would tell me he got the No Pussy Blues, I would laugh at him really, really loud. Then we would go have a beer afterwards and laugh about it. |

I'm listening to the Grinderman album now and it's a work of noisy art. Knowing Nick, as I do, I think it's an album to do with sex and ageing. Getting old and not having sex or trying to have sex. You know what I mean anyway. Sex and age. And hair loss. And great beards. Can you start a sentence with 'and'? I have anyway. He gave up the horse a while ago didn't he? Not good for you really is it.
Who's going to the next ATP with him cavorting about then?
