Yes, I like copying thread titles from the Melvins board to this one.
My favorite band isn't Mudhoney, but the Melvins. If I only mention bands whose albums I all like, the list would be a short one: Melvins, Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr, Kyuss, Pixies and Fantomas. But of course there are tons of bands who rock fucking hard as well, here's an overview: Sabbath, Blue Cheer, Earth, Black Flag, Wipers, Meat Puppets, High On Fire, Mastodon, Electric Wizard, Helmet, Jesus Lizard, Butthole Surfers, Neurosis and Isis.

I like lots of stuff.
White Stripes, Iggy Pop and/or the Stooges, Black Flag, Minor Threat, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Melvins, L7, Sonic Youth, Smashing pumpkins, The Minutemen, Green river, Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Mother Love Bone, alot of indie bands that i dont know the names of but good music still, Gumball, Ramones, Beatles, Circle Jerks, Gray Matter, Skin Yard, TAD, Fluid, Mad Season, Fugazi, The Darkness (pussy band i know, but hey they rock), Jimi Hendrix and his Expeirience, Blue Oyster Cult, Malfunkshun, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, (the) Pixies, Babes In Toyland, Dinosaur Jr., Stone Temple Pilots, Umen and alot more than I care to list.

I could probably sit here all day naming you a shed-load of bands but you'd probably get board,so i'll only name a few...Dinosaur Jr,Sebadoh,J Mascis & The Fog,The Breeders,Pixies,Nirvana,Jesus & Mary Chain,Jesus Lizard,Scratch Acid,Tad,Helmet,Sonic Youth,L7,Babes,Bikini Kill,Hole,Fugazi,Minor Threat,Black Flag,Iggy,Melvins,Screaming Trees/Lanegan and many many more.

Yeah I know, it's hard alright. Just don't make it easy and post all of your favorites but make it difficult and be a little selective. Also, I skipped bands who made one crappy album I can stand.
