I had the good fortune to spend some time with the mighty Tex Perkins t'other day. Beasts of Bourbon were in London to play the Underworld in support of their very very very fine album 'Little Animals'. They totally totally rock. I was so blown away. Doing a little work for their label Alberts (Aussie label - publishers of AC/DC etc) and this meant sort of hooking up with the band. Lovely blokes. Check out new single 'I Don't Care About Nothing Anymore': www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4l82RQBQUkand this fantastic photo! www.bigdayout.com/images/photogallery/mark_arm__nick_cave__tex_perkins___mick_harvey.jpgha ha ha!! Tell us about the gig Alex. I mentioned it to Tex and he was like 'yeah we played with those guys, it was cool'. Kind of non-comittal - but then they had just driven 11 hours from Belgium and were knackered and were looking forward to a drive from London to Cologne the next day. The routing on the BOB tour was intense....
