Makes me wanna go back. you are right pal, mudhoney do not play at showbox 11/29/08 and yeah GREEN RIVER re-place them. there is rumours that GreenRiver will play at Portland in the day before seattle show, but moreinfo about it later when it's "official". I just written to Mark for it soi think that i'll tell you the official info soon, i hope... |

So gig went off in Portland and by accounts was good? I'm excited about this Green River re-formation - Vs.2 or whatever you wanna call it. Album in the pipeline and more shows - maybe they'll tour or come to Europe....? Have to admit I struggled back in the day when Mudhoney started out and the Green River albums were suddenly available over in the UK with the band.... the production etc on Rehab Doll is horrible - you can see musically why the split happened.... But they really were incredible back in the summer at SP20 - and I'd really love to see them again / hear something new. All in all - quite exciting  Can't see there being a huge amount of Mudhoney activity next year post the Japanese shows - but then what do I know! They should - get the DVD finished and release that AND work on re-issues of both Mudhoney and Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge. Thanks - message ends. |
