Folks - hey there. This is not a criticism in any way of this forum - but things do seem rather quiet here recently. Generally do folks think in general specific band 'forums' are a thing of the past? I'm curious Have we talked about and raked over enough Mudhoney info? Are we all spending more time on the Facebook and Bebo and less time discussing......Mudhoney Test Pressings? I'm just interested.... Is the mudhoney facebook page where we should be discussing stuff and should we move this Forum over there? I'm not saying we should... just thinking out loud. cheers

I too come here once or twice a week - just to see if anythings happening. But there's not been a lot of news - and when there was activity last year - shows etc and you know... a new album... there wasn't a lot of chat/comment. That's fine - I'm not complaining It's just sort of how the online culture is evolviing I think - more twittering, less time spent on these kind of forums. But I hold this forum in high regard - so just wanted to raise the point.

yeh ditto. its where i'd go to get answers or news Mudhoney-wise. The myspace is just hellos and plugs for other people bands. what i want to know is: why aren't sub pop coughing up for the Mudhoney dvd?! Or are they? Like I'll donate to the cause if otherwise it's not gonna happen but... you know, in all the times I've seen mudhoney in the noughties (when i became a fan) they've never taken the merch/tshirt thing very seriously. Even Dinosaur Jr managed a vinyl reissue... Dunno why I'm ranting. Mudhoney are a great inspiration to all the unsung, unsigned, undiscovered! Maybe it's cause they stopped having proper 'management' and are only interested in recording and touring a bit... but i mean, talk about cult appeal. With a bit of PR they could have had several renaissances...! Then we'd be inundated with fresh faced teeny-bopper nirvana kids. okay i contributed. now you try

Looks like we'll have at least a few things to chat about soon Euro festivals in July - Euro dates in Oct. I ordered the Gruge Is Dead book from Amazon (US) yesterday. Can't believe this time last year I was booking flights/hotels/tickets to Sub Pop 20.... wish I could do it all again. Damn you global reccession! Damn you to hell...

Things ARE quiet on this board / forum compared to a 3/4 years ago - things may still be 'happening' in Mudhoney world - as in tours/new recordings every year or two, and we're blessed in Europe with the time they spend coming over to play. My original point (Thorn go back to the top an re-read is that we spend less time talking about it on this forum. So whilst I have still have faith (?!) in the band I'm a little sad that we ALL spend a little less time here talking about...
