Sorry to intrude, but I thought some Mudhoney fans might find this interesting. Over the past few years my little company has published a few books for comic artist Brian Walsby. The books are called MANCHILD (1-4) and the last 2 books came with CDs of rare/ unreleased Melvins material. MANCHILD 4/ The Melvins "Pick Your Battles" CD just came out yesterday. Most folks my age (34) and older probably learned about Mudhoney and the Melvins around the same time as they were lumped into the same group of bands by the media in the early '90s. Needless to say, we're really excited to have been able to put these books and CDs out.
Brian Walsby is pretty infamous as a "punk" comic artist who's been around since the early '80s publishing art work and playing drums for everyone from Scared Straight to Polvo. We've published the Walsby/Melvins titles in small/ limited runs and there are a small # of copies left for anyone who cares to look for them. You can hear/ see them at www.bifocalmedia.com.
