Hi there Just like to introduce myself - new member, just joined About me - not much to say at present, a boring ol' sod ,or rather a youngin' depending on personal perspective -25yrs -old? male residing in the Emerald Isle in Wst.Europe Well like i say - not much going on right now apart from barely hanging on to a boring old job (which i'm lucky to still have at this stage ) and just generally going through a bit of a downer right now. But guess that's irrelevant anyways - Music is what makes it at least somewhat worthwhile, especially right now -both listening and strumming along to, wherever/whenever possible One of the bands i dig is obviously the one that this forum bears the name of, as well as a few other (some quite different in style(s) But on the subject of MUD in particular, i quite like a few of the bands side-gigs, solo projects - i.e Green River, Steve Turner (solo stuff), Thrown-Ups, etc Right now, i ESPECIALLY dig Monkeywrench Gabriels Horn is one of the best pieces of music i had ever heard , though i know my opinion might change some day (only to change back again some more time later eh But for now i love the album I have to say , hard though it is to play favorites with mudhoney albums, and their related side-shots, i PREFER GABRIEL'S HORN over "the lucky Ones" album by a longshot Maybe its' just a phase, like i say, but oh well Nice to meet you all, i'll do my best at avoiding stepping on people's toe's here I'm the COY, quite type =P, now more than ever it seems Good to be here Cheers!

Thanks for the info and the the warm welcome, mate!
Yeah, i've heard of the album (GH) a while back, but had finally downloaded a few remaining tunes i did not have literally days ago
It's just one of those few pieces ofART that has every single track a unique stroke of masterpiece -every song on the album is just GREAT Not many bands (that i know of) can pull it off, at least to my own personal taste
And Mudhoney themselves have almost a 'full kit' of those^^ kinds of albums - where every (or nearly every) song is as good and as unique as the next one and the rest of the album/s
Just great stuff!!
Anyways.. Once again -appreciate the hospitality and glad to have found this place and so far i quite like this forum (and site!), which only recently stumbled upon..
usually my 'go-to/reference' kinda site for all things mudhoney and their friends was always that 'mud.from seattle' site, ran by that dude by the name of Peter Trahms Awesome site he has too - wealth of info and archive material (as well as the best/most correct, seemingly, source for mudhoney guitar tabs IMO) with most up-to date tour info TMK, which is great..
great to have a place (i,e- this site) to read up on fan discussion of various topics and get up-to date news/info related to the bands that i like.
One last thing- Most of you here must know of Wylderattz (Watt, Moore, Arm, late-Asheton, etc..) What a great band..which with a lineup like that^^ is to be expected i guess
But what i'd like to know is - whether anyone here would know or remember of the site (AFAIK -site was most likely ran by the band or their manager/producers or someone close to them) The site itself looks quite simple and abstract(ish) in design and had just some basic info, bio, few weird pics, photos of some of the band and cartoonish/colorful type links on which you clicked and you'd be able to download a song of theirs free of charge If i'm not mistaken there was about 7-8 mp3's of theirs in total -all awesome tracks, but a few definitely stood out - "LSD", "smoke", "hotshot", "Poison"-just brill(-thurston doing vocals and just overall great tune, great lyrics), "smoke" and then i think "Rosalyn" and cover of "TV Eye"- are another 2 that i remember having downloaded Unfortunately the comp. i had the files-those mp3's on had long ago crashed (4-5 years ago i think - i found their site around 2002-2003 if memory serves me right) and a while ago i had a chance to listen to LSD and Poison again (some scratched-up cd i'd burned way back then i presume) and wanted to get them recovered
So i went looking for that same old site -it's no longer there I'm pretty sure it's gone.. the only other sites related to wylderatts i 've found were their official, i think MySpace site which only has that OMNIPRESENT "TV-Eye" track plus another 1 or 2 but not the ones i'm looking for Also found COUNTLESS sites selling downloads of that same old "tv-eye" cover, but no other tracks of theirs
So if anybody here either knows what happened to that old web-page i mentioned or knows where to get a few Wylderattz tracks, please let me know - i would appreciate it
thanks again!

I've been written some notes for Wylde Rattz here: www.mudhoneysite.com/WyldeRatttz.htmli've been planning to re-do it but i've been too busy lately... yeah that old WR's site has been offline long time now. but there is Mike Watt's Hootpage website so you may still be able to download wylde ratttz songs there if you don't already have em. I do not remember the URL now but use google or so. awh and yeah Peter has done great job for his mudpage. but Gionardos site was greatest ever; sad thing is that mudhoney.net has not been uptodating it for ages. Biafora helped me alot when i started to work with my site. he is the best !!! gotta go, more later -m-
