hey what do you guys think of the epiphone g400? is it nice and good for grunge & punk stuff? is there anything better for the price?

yea nice guitar.. in all but i just don't like epiphones.. nor do i like gibsons but the sg sounds great.. if ur thinking about buying.. consider.. its really a nice guitar.. and thats coming from someone who hates them!  |

I had a Epi SG - Korina. One of those gold hardware, light wood jobs. It was ok.... nothing special really. Sold it to a bandmate for a £100 - about 2 months later he put it on Ebay and got £200 for it!! I was not amused  The pick ups were lame though - no grunt. 'Proper' Gibson SGs are great though!! But I think if push came to shove I'd get a cheapo Telecaster over an Epi SG.... |

I like Epiphones, I've played an Epiphone SG and it was really good, it has a lot of beef... I have an Epiphone Les Paul Gothic and I absolutely fucking love it, you can really wack some distortion through it!

indeed, ibanez=shit, framus=shit, rickenbacker=maybe!! think about it all other guitars are just subtle copies of fender and gibson guitars!!!
